And in my head thoughts as black as a crow...
what will mother say, what will father say...
when it will perish, vanish, disappear,
the beloved word,
born in pain long ago...
they will turn back from the young grave and
fall silent, spoiled by suffering.
And what will He say?
Will He forgive me and
let me go?
Will He let them take me
to hell for metal's glow,
for the fear running through my veins and
for the heart, detained in throat?
He will just...just...
turn back and leave,
as He always did.
He will leave and say "It can't be helped."
And I will beg,
I will cry,
I will scream...
"Come back!"
